JORGE BENITEZ VELASQUEZ

WHO I AM

Born in 1953 in Bolivar  Valle, Colombia. I live and work as an Artist in Vienna, Austria since 1986.

I paint with oils and acrylics mainly landscapes and also portraits.

I studied painting and graphic arts at the Academy of Arts of the artist Bernardino Labrada and was an assistant to the School of Fine Arts in Cali (Colombia), the third largest city in the country.

Finally, I took the plunge to Europe and live in Vienna as a professional artist.

Since 1975 I have made numerous exhibitions in Colombia, Spain, France, Japan and Austria.
